What if I am injured at work?
Let your supervisor (Admin) know immediately. They should provide you with the necessary forms to fill out, but if not, you should:
fill out an Employee Incident/Accident Report Form to document the incident with the Board/OSSTF
fill out WSIB Form 6 for your own protection
seek medical attention ASAP (even if it seems unnecessary, this could be important if symptoms persist, get worse, or do not appear right away). Let your doctor know that this injury happened at work, so they should fill out WSIB Form 8
contact TBU Officer Candice Potz (phone: 519-571-0331, email: d24tbuofficer@gmail.com) to inform her of your situation, and so she can help you navigate any further processes, particularly if accommodations or leaves should be considered
