tri-PRIDE in the Park

OSSTF District 24 will have a table at tri-Pride in Willow River Park (aka Victoria Park) on Saturday, June 6 from 12 - 8 pm!

This year marks the 30th anniversary of tri-Pride; a milestone rooted in resilience, advocacy, and community care across Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge. This year’s theme, THE LIGHT IS COMING, emerges in response to a time that has been marked by grief, uncertainty, and renewed challenges for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities both locally and globally.

Occasional Teachers' Spring Social

Feeling like you’re missing a “spring” in your step at this point in the school year? Join us for our second OT social guaranteed to fill your hunger for food, connection, and competition! Join us at the D24 office for an evening of board games, lighthearted rivalries, and plenty of laughs.

With the warmer weather here, we’ll also be taking things up a notch by hosting some yard games outside on the patio of D24 office!

After the games wrap up, we’ll head over to a local establishment to keep the evening going with delicious bites and refreshing drinks. This will be another great opportunity to unwind, catch up with colleagues, and celebrate the year together.

Snacks, pizza, and non-alcoholic refreshments will be available at the D24 office. There is no cost to attend, but registration in advance is required.

This event is open to OSSTF Daily Occasional Teachers and LTOs only. Unfortunately, guests are not permitted.

We hope to see you there!
