Each December 6, we commemorate not only the lives lost in Montreal on that day in 1989, but also, we remember each woman who has been killed at the hands of a man in the 32 years since the massacre. We honour each woman, and we pledge that we will not stop until we see an end to gender-based violence against women.

Ready to roll the dice on a great time? Join us at the D24 office for an evening of friendly competition, laughter, and a wide variety of board games. Whether you’re a strategist, a social butterfly, or just in it for the snacks, there’s something for everyone.

After the games wrap up, we’ll head over to a local establishment to keep the fun going with some well-earned bites and brews. It’s the perfect chance to unwind, connect with fellow colleagues, and celebrate your efforts from the past year. 

Drink vouchers will be provided, courtesy of D24. Snacks, Pizza, and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided at the D24 office. There is no cost to the event, but you must register in advance to attend.

Come to the District 24 Office on Thursday November 27 for our first annual Student Achievement Awards Arts Night Open House to celebrate the amazing pieces that have been submitted to the OSSTF Student Achievement Awards!

Drop in anytime from 6 - 8 pm to view, watch, read, and listen to the powerful work these students have created and enjoy some light refreshments.

All OSSTF members are welcome to come support and congratulate these young artists, writers, and performers on this very special night.

Come celebrate having your mid-term marks done with a fun Saturday night of free bowling with OSSTF! Register as a school team OR as an individual! Both competitive and recreational divisions are available! Refreshments provided! Register early to ensure you get a lane.

This fast-paced, 1.5-hour workshop is facilitated by Learning Services staff and is packed with quick-win strategies for the occasional classroom. We'll focus on streamlined IT troubleshooting, core classroom management tips you can use right away, and simple ways to establish a welcoming learning environment. This is an Auto Care Workshop for women-identifying members with Auto Cate! Learn essential skills such as how to change a tire, check and top up fluids, boost a battery, perform basic maintenance, inspect your engine, and prepare for emergencies.
